The following is a list of steps that will need to be completed in order for a company to receive funding generated by the New Business Ecosystem NBE.
/ Establish a user name and password on the New Business Ecosystem web site.
/ Fill out a Corporate Issuer Membership form found on the Membership Access page of this website.
/ Fill out the New Issuer and Due Diligence Questionnaires (This forms can be found in the Corporate Issuer Access page of this website)
/ NBE administrative staff member will contact the appropriate company representative to arrange interviews and question answer session.
/ The NBE staff then conducts a due diligence evaluation, makes a determination if the issuer’s transaction is acceptable. If acceptable the administrator will write an Action Plan Letter to the issuer outlining any items that need to be addressed ahead of the funding process. If all aspects of the action plan letter are agreed upon by the issuer at that point they will be made part of the NBE Issuer Population.
/ Depending on how quickly an issuer can address the items mentioned in the Action Plan Letter the Issuer will be assigned a presentation number for funding consideration.
/ Once an issuer is assigned a presentation number their offering will be placed into the NBE rotation pipeline, their offering pitch deck will be on display in the investment banker’s access section on this website, and a company needs analysis summary will also be on display for NBE agents in the field to view and evaluate. There these issuers will be waiting for their number to come up in the rotation. Once an issuer’s number comes up they will be placed on a schedule to begin meetings with NBE participating investment banking firms and their related funding sources to present offerings.
Special Note: Reservations for presentation numbers can from time to time be obtained by issuers based on availability. The offering presentations of those issuers with reservation time stamps that are dated ahead of the entry date of other offerings in the pipeline will take precedence in the NBE funding rotation.
/ Once issuer receives funding from an NBE participating investment bank or other related financial source they will be assigned a set NBE agents to address the newly evolving financial needs of the company and it’s principals. Those needs being among but not limited to group insurance and benefits, retirement planning, key man policies, buy sell agreement funding, estate tax funding, and asset management.
